How active is Hangfire in releases and updates?
I’m considering Hangfire for a project because it makes background processes simple to implement, but if it’s not in active developement, it might be a tough sell to the higher ups.

but I thought I’d reply anyway.
From my perspective as a user of Hangfire, it’s very widely used and shouldn’t be a worry for any normal organisation to consider using in prod.
You can look at the github releases https://github.com/HangfireIO/Hangfire/releases to see how often it’s updated. My view is there’s enough security & bugfix updates to make me feel very comfortable, and not too much core functionality development/changes that I feel it’s hard to keep track of, but enough that I can see it’s keeping up with technology changes and improving over time.
